This one-of-a-kind, panettone-style Christmas cake is made with extra virgin olive oil (instead of the traditional butter), giving it a delicious, light, soft crumb. The dome-shaped cake is piped throughout with a jelly made from the Abruzzo region’s famous Montepulciano wine. It is also dotted with plump Montepulciano grape raisins.
